This targeted CPD helps embed consistent approaches to fluency across school, leading to improved reading outcomes.

This is a a six-session programme delivered over three full days and is aimed at Reading Leaders and SENDcos. The programme has been developed in consultation with the EEF and a range of SEND consultants and charities.

We host regular virtual calls with our Literacy Specialists. These free sessions are perfect for you if: You want guidance on early language development strategies; You have questions about implementing an age-appropriate phonics programme; You'd like tips on promoting a love of reading in your classroom. Each session lasts 20 minutes, with the option to book a double slot for more in-depth discussions.

Selected by the DfE in 2018, Burley Woodhead English Hub is one of just 34 schools across England. We work in partnership with schools in Bradford, Craven, Richmondshire and Hambleton to promote a love of reading and excellent teaching of early language and systematic synthetic phonics.
