The free showcase supports senior leaders and classroom teachers, by introducing a clear, research-informed approach to teaching writing. It highlights effective practices for building writing stamina, vocabulary, and sentence structure across all key stages. Attendees gain insight into curriculum progression, assessment, and how to support children in developing a writer’s voice. The showcase encourages whole-school consistency and supports leaders in driving writing improvement with confidence. There will also be the opportunity to see practice in action, reflect on your own practice and develop an action plan for improvement.

These free sessions are perfect for you if: You want guidance on early language development strategies; You have questions about implementing an age-appropriate phonics programme; You'd like tips on promoting a love of reading in your classroom. Each session lasts 20 minutes, with the option to book a double slot for more in-depth discussions.

Boost Communication in your EYFS Setting - Session 121Oct2025
