Reading for Pleasure: Transforming your school's reading culture (TSRC)

The TSRC programme is a
sustained, research based CPD programme aimed at
primary English Leads. During the course of the
programme participants will engage deeply with
reading for pleasure pedagogy and leadership theory
to transform their school’s reading culture.
Participants will attend 3 full day sessions and
complete gap tasks in between sessions.

Reading Fluency - the Bridge to Comprehension

New for 2025-26, this fluency course supports teachers by deepening their understanding of what reading fluency is and why it matters for comprehension and confidence. It equips staff with practical strategies to develop accuracy,
automaticity, and prosody
in pupils’ reading.

Reading for Pleasure: The Next Chapter


Whether you’ve completed the Transforming Schools’
Reading Culture (TSRC) programme or have evidence
of successful RfP in your school, this is your opportunity
to reconnect, reflect, and refresh your approach to RfP.

Dates for the twilight sessions (15.45 to 17.15) are as follows:

in consultation with the EEF and a range of SEND

This two session course is designed for supporting all
children, particularly those who may not have
